A new concept car held one of the prime positions in Ford’s display booth at the recent SEMA aftermarket auto parts trade show.

If the purple paint job isn’t enough to grab your attention, that “machine gun” looking device hanging out the top of the bonnet is part of the twin super-charged, 1000 Horsepower, 5.0 litre Mustang powerplant.

Although Ford didn’t admit it, I’m pretty sure this is a new Batmobile designed by the singer Prince. And means that the next Batman movie is heading back to the original TV show’s camp roots!

The Skythe is based on a 2008 Mustang GT Convertible (sort of) and also includes a 3G connected, voice-activated Shuttle XPC computer that provides real-time traffic, news and weather updates and a series of security cameras around the vehicle to give the driver an almost 360-degree view around them.
